2015 Year End Thoughts

2015 has been a rollercoaster. I go up , then down, up again, and then down again. Its not really everyday that one will have a "Eureka" moments and figure things out. Here's my 2015 Eureka moments:
1. The fewer the people I put in my circle, the more the cohesion, the stronger the relationship.

I have always believed in socializing. In fact, I want to know as many people as possible. The feeling of knowing different people  coming from different background is so addictive. However, I realized that quality will always be better than quantity. So this year, I lessened my contact with people I deemed irrelevant to my life and completely shut my doors to some people who will always be a part of my past and brings no good to my present. On the other side, I built a quality relationship with my significant others.

2. Interdependence is a higher intelligence, but being alone is also a higher intelligence.

A wise man said that no one will ever achieve something of value alone. This means that in order to reach the summit of success, a team is always necessary. While this is true, being alone holds something that a group may not provide-- and this is getting closer to inner self. I have always believe that it is in our peaceful solitude that we can achieve inner peace.

3. Health is indeed wealth.

Dont get me wrong with this. I am not suffering with any ailment nor disease. Its just that, I know a very wonderful woman at the age of 50 who looks so much younger than her age. She is lean, tall, and blooming. Its not something you expect from someone her age, right? Her secret? Diet and Exercise. According to her, 70 % of our health comes from what we eat while 30 % is from exercise. This would lead is to thinking that what we put in our mouth will really have a big impact to our over all health. From her I realized the importance of diet. Well, I admit that my physical exercise is lesser compared to some fitness enthusiast but this year, I focused on watching what I put in my mouth. I reduced my intake of sodas, junkfoods, processed foods and fast foods, Although I am sometimes tempted to eat junkfoods or buy at a fastfood chain for convenience, I still make sure that I consume more of organic foods. A quote I came across in my newsfeed says that  we are what we eat. So lets not be cheap and fast.

So thats is! Merry Christmas yall. May we all be happy. :D
